Stephanie Richardson
Biography
Stephanie is an independent consultant to professional bodies and membership associations, with 20 years’ experience working within membership organisations and delivering knowledge/professional development services. She works with leading membership organisations to help them design and deliver new membership strategies and to implement major change programmes to help them achieve their potential.
Stephanie has a particular interest in professional standards and accreditation, having spent much of her career leading these functions at the Institute of Physics, where she was responsible for CPD, Professional Standards & Degree Accreditation as well as managing the disciplinary process. She is currently a lay member of the Professional Standards Board at the Royal Society of Chemistry and is a previous member of their Disciplinary Committee, and a Trustee at the Vocational Training Charitable Trust, a leading specialist international awarding organisation.
Stephanie is a regular speaker at membership conferences on topics relating to professional development and member engagement, a mentor to those new to the membership profession and a regular judge at the MemCom awards.
