Tim Walker
Biography
Tim Walker was Chief Executive and Registrar of the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) until February 2019. Prior to the GOsC he worked for the General Medical Council, also as a political consultant and in regulatory affairs at Turner Broadcasting UK, the Cabinet Office, and the (then) Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.
As a regulator, Tim has sought to develop an approach based on positive engagement and collaboration with professionals in the UK and overseas. He initiated the creation of the UK's Osteopathic Development Group and played a key role in drafting pan-European standards for osteopathic healthcare.
