Dr Laura Perez Klein MRCVS

Biography

Laura graduated from Barcelona University in 2001 and has practiced as a small animal veterinary surgeon since. Laura has worked in small clinics, large hospitals, general practice, referrals, university and out of hours settings. Laura’s passion within clinical practice is Emergencies and Critical Care, and since 2018 she holds a postgraduate certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice.

Laura has held several leadership and management positions and has a wide knowledge on all aspects of the running and leading of small animal practices. She particularly enjoys coaching and mentoring others.

Laura’s current focus is on quality improvement, patient safety and effective communication and in the last few years she has been supporting practice teams on delivering clinical improvement projects, helping on the implementation of patient safety tools and promoting and mentoring others on effective communication both within the team and with clients.

In her spare time, she is either rehearsing for a ballet show, colouring a book or singing in a choir.
