Biography
Having initially gained a law degree at Bristol University, Melanie qualified through Chester College of Law and worked as a corporate solicitor in the City of London.
After experiencing a ‘calling’ to retrain as a vet (following in the footsteps of numerous family members) she qualified from Cambridge University in 2004. She has worked in various settings in general practice, mostly focussed on small animals, with some exotics and equine, in both independent and corporate practices, including an emergency OOH care provider.
Melanie has a special interest in veterinary ophthalmology, gaining the RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Ophthalmology in 2012.
