Policy
This section about RCVS policy relates to how we approach some of the key animal health and welfare and regulatory issues of the day and is rooted in our mission statement: “to enhance society through improved animal health and welfare by setting, upholding and advancing the educational, ethical and clinical standards of veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses”, and in our Strategic Plan.
Our policies are developed by drawing on the expertise of our Council Members and staff, often through formal Working Parties set up to look at specific issues in detail.
