What’s a Breed n’ Betsy doing on the BBC?
25 March 2011
An equipment grant we awarded to the School of Veterinary Sciences, University of Bristol, to fund a Breed n’ Betsy rectal simulator has been featured on the BBC News website.
"The Betsy units have made an incredible difference to our teaching and the welfare of our teaching cow herd as well, so thank you very much for all your help’.
Mike Steele MRCVS, Teaching Fellow, Bristol
In 2010 the Trust invested £14,000 in funding 6 pieces of equipment for the UK veterinary schools and veterinary nurse training centres, such as a dental X-ray unit and canine mannequin.
In 2011 our funding will equip veterinary nurse students in vital practical skills and techniques before they graduate into practice.
