Webinar on how to engage in lifelong learning
7 April 2015
Later this month we will be holding a webinar explaining the benefits of lifelong learning for veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses through engaging in continuing professional development (CPD).
The webinar, which takes place at 1pm on Tuesday 21 April and is hosted by the Webinar Vet, will be presented by Kit Sturgess (pictured left), a member of RCVS Council and the Education Committee, and registered veterinary nurse Liz Cox (pictured right), the Vice-Chair of VN Council.
During the webinar the presenters will not only explain the importance of CPD for both veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses in everyday practice but will also discuss different types and methods of learning, what constitutes CPD and how best to keep a record of your professional development. Following the presentation there will be an opportunity to ask Kit and Liz questions about the topic.
You can register for the webinar online, which can itself count as CPD.
If you are unable to listen live, a recording of the webinar will be made available shortly after on our dedicated webinars page.
