VN News and VN Annual Report - now available
1 August 2005
The August 2005 edition of RCVS Veterinary Nursing News has just been published, together with the latest Veterinary Nursing Annual Report, and copies of both should be landing on doormats this week.
VN News is sent to veterinary nursing approved centres, training practice principals, VN course providers and veterinary nursing libraries, as well as all listed veterinary nurses.
The August edition contains a report of this year's RCVS Day, which was attended by a number of VNs, plus news about VN Council and its new veterinary and lay members. Contact details for the current elected VN members are provided.
There are a number articles about education issues, including a list of successful diploma candidates, a report of a best practice day at the RCVS for internal verifiers, information about changes to the format of VN practical examinations and advice on how to become an RCVS examiner.
There is also a feature on the RCVS Trust and Trust Library, and about how veterinary nurses can apply for educational grants from the Trust and benefit from the Library's variety of services.
Published alongside this edition of VN News is the latest VN Annual Report, which provides a concise overview of the year's activities of the RCVS VN Council, VN Awarding Body and VN Department.
