VN fee notices sent out
8 October 2009
Retention fee notices were posted out to all Listed and Registered Veterinary Nurses on 21 September. Payment is due by 1 November 2009, and fees can be paid by cash or cheque.
If you have an existing direct debit payment, this will be billed automatically; if you wish to set up a direct debit for future years, this can be arranged by contacting the Finance Department.
There has been no increase this year to the annual retention fee for a Listed or Registered Veterinary Nurse so the fee amount remains £60; if under- or over-payments have been made in previous years, the amount owing will be adjusted accordingly.
If a VN or RVN is removed from the List or Register for non-payment, then a £38 restoration fee will also apply.
For RVNs who registered after 1 November 2008, the registration fee also covers the retention fee until December 2010; they should, however, sign and return the declaration concerning criminal offences that was enclosed with the fee notice.
It is the responsibility of individual veterinary nurses to ensure that their fees are paid and that we have been informed of any change in address.
If you have not received your notice then please contact us to check we hold your correct address. You can also check the amount of your retention fee owing and payment details by contacting the Finance Department on 020 7202 0723 or [email protected].
