VN exam results published

The results of the Level 2 and Level 3 written veterinary nursing exams sat in the winter 2009 exam round were sent out yesterday to all candidates by first-class post.
The names of the successful candidates are also now available to download on the Examination results page.
A total of 433 candidates attempted the Level 2 exam, of whom 15 sat the equine paper, and 323 candidates attempted Level 3, of whom four sat the equine exam.
At Level 2, 77% of first-attempt candidates who sat the small animal paper, and 71% of those sitting the equine paper, passed. This compares with 81% and 64% respectively for the 2009 summer exams.
At Level 3, 88% of first-attempt candidates who sat the small animal paper, and 50% of those sitting the equine paper, passed. This compares with 92% and 69% respectively in summer 2009.
We congratulate all those who have been successful.
- Student enrolment figures for 2009 were up by 5%, at 1,114, compared with 1,060 in 2008.
