VN Council Election results
11 May 2004
The 2004 Veterinary Nursing Council Election results were announced on Monday 10 May 2004. Dorothy Creighton and Diane Guinan were elected to serve on VN Council from Friday 9 July 2004.
The result of the election will be formally announced at the Annual General Meeting of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons which will be held on RCVS Day on Friday 9 July 2004, at The Conference & Banqueting Centre at Church House, Dean's Yard, Westminster SW1 at 10:00am.
Last year 8% of veterinary nurses took part in the elections. Unfortunately the turnout this year was only slightly higher with just 9% of veterinary nurses choosing to vote. However, 16% of all those who voted did decide to take advantage of the newly introduced Internet and telephone voting methods.
