Vet businesses asked to make sure details up-to-date ahead of practice annual renewal
30 January 2025
Veterinary businesses are being asked to make sure the details regarding their veterinary practice premises are accurate and up-to-date ahead of the beginning of the annual renewal process next month.
All veterinary practice premises need to renew their place on the Register of Veterinary Practice Premises (RVPP) on an annual basis. This includes veterinary practice premises under the ambit of the Practice Standards Scheme (PSS).
All practices on the RVPP have, this week, been contacted by letter to ask them to check that the information we hold about their premises are correct and to update us on any closures or sales of premises or if new premises have been purchased.
Such details must be updated before the RVPP renewal period begins in the second half of February.
Veterinary businesses are also being encouraged to make preparations for the start of the annual renewal period for veterinary surgeons in March. This includes making sure their staff lists are up-to-date and that the correct Direct Debits are in place.
Further information about fees and annual renewal processes can be found on our dedicated Registration pages.
