UK candidate elected to FVE Board
12 June 2007
Stephen Ware, RCVS Council Member and former RCVS President, has joined the new Board of the Federation of Veterinarians of Europe (FVE), following his election as a Vice-President to the FVE at its General Assembly meeting in Krakow today.
The FVE is an umbrella organisation of veterinary bodies from 35 European countries which aims to unite the European veterinary profession for the benefit of animal health, animal welfare and public health.
It aims to formulate and coordinate opinions on animal health and welfare matters, veterinary education and training from all veterinary members across Europe and to communicate these to the European Commission, the Council of Europe and the Europe Parliament, amongst others.
