Still time to pay
31 March 2011
Today (31 March) is the deadline for payment of veterinary surgeons’ annual retention fees.
However, due to delays in retention fee notices being issued, and some technical hitches with our new website’s ‘My Account’ facility, we are aware that the payment process has not been as smooth this year as we would have liked. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience that this has caused.
In recognition of this, we will not introduce the £35 late-payment fee until 1 May 2011. However, we would still appreciate it if people pay their fees as soon as possible.
The deadline for confirming or changing Register details remains 30 September 2011. Although confirmation that details are correct can be made online, changes cannot currently be made online and must be sent in writing (email/post/fax).
To date, over 4,700 people have confirmed their address details online, and the website has handled nearly £380,000-worth of retention fee payments.
We are working closely with our database and website suppliers to address the problems some people have experienced with the My Account facility, and hope to have these fixed as soon as possible.
If you have any questions regarding renewing your registration online, please email [email protected].
