Statement on the death of His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh

Following the announcement of the death of the Duke of Edinburgh this morning (Friday 9 April 2021) the RCVS has published the following statement.
Dr Mandisa Greene MRCVS, President of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, said: “We are very sorry to hear today of the death of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh this morning. Our thoughts and sincere condolences are with the Royal Family on this sad day and, in particular, our Patron, Her Majesty the Queen.”
