Safeguard the Library Appeal - thanks to responders
12 September 2002
The RCVS Trust would like to thank responders to its Safeguard the Library appeal. In the first two months since the launch members and practices have raised £15,900 towards the 2002 Library costs with a further £4,200 pledged on an annual basis.
The RCVS Trust launched the fundraising appeal to close the annual funding gap faced by the Library& Information Service and to fund new developments in the Library service. The first phase of the campaign in July was an appeal to RCVS members to contribute annually to support the service. The start is promising - especially in the exceptional generosity of a few contributors.
But there is much more still to do!
Sustained support from the veterinary profession is the first phase in the Trust's initiative to secure the future of the Library. RCVS members who have not yet responded are invited to consider supporting the campaign.
