RCVS Trust welcomes grant applications as deadline approaches
7 January 2009
The RCVS Trust’s 2009 grants round is due to close at 5pm on Wednesday 21 January 2009: there is still time to apply.
The Trust aims to make a total of £250,000 available through its research and animal welfare programmes this year. Both veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses are eligible to apply, although there are some restrictions in the different categories - which include Blue Sky Research, Travel Scholarships, Equipment Grants and Small Grants.
The EMS Vacation Scholarships programme has a separate deadline of 31 March 2009.
Cherry Bushell, Director of the Trust, said: “We encourage applications for bold and innovative work in the tradition of the high-quality projects the Trust is known to fund. Trust-funded individuals join a cadre of those making a significant contribution to the profession.”
Full details of the individual programmes can be found on the Trust’s website or from the Trust Office +44 (0)20 7202 0741.
