RCVS Trust's Tracy Mayne is 'Trustee of the Week'
28 October 2009
Want to find out more about the people who drive RCVS Trust forwards from behind the scenes? Read an interview with Trust board member Registered Veterinary Nurse Mrs Tracy Mayne, Partner at the Vets4Pets Ltd practice in Redditch, who is ‘Trustee of the Week’ on ‘The Trustee Network’ website.
Describing her decision to join our Board of Trustees, Tracy says: “I wanted…to be able to give something back to the profession I have worked in for the past 18 years,” before emphasising her enthusiasm for the support we provide to the veterinary profession: “I wanted to be a part of a trust that had its finger on the pulse of what the profession needed to continue to evolve”.
She also discusses our grant-making programme: “Seeing the high calibre of grants that we award each year is something that I, as a Trustee, can be very proud of.
"Much of the work we fund is ground breaking and I admire the individuals and colleges that apply, as they help to make our veterinary profession what it is today.”
