RCVS Trust leads funding for CCSF
22 October 2002
The RCVS Trust has awarded a grant of £40,000 to the Comparative Clinical Science Foundation (CCSF) which was established to raise funds for the purpose of furthering comparative clinical science in human and veterinary medicine.
The £40,000 award is the largest donation the CCSF has received to date making the RCVS Trust the lead funder of this initiative, which is also backed by the BVA, BVA divisions and the six UK veterinary schools.
Dr Lydia Brown, Chairman of the RCVS Trust said, "We are pleased to have been in a position to kick-start the CCSF initiative and are delighted that other funders in the veterinary profession have followed suit. The Trustees look forward to hearing about the progress of the project as it gathers pace."
