RCVS Question Time goes virtual
15 April 2013
On Wednesday 24 April we will be holding our first ever RCVS Virtual Question Time meeting, meaning veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses can ‘attend’ the meeting without leaving the comfort of their own homes.
This is an ideal opportunity to put those burning questions to us and could also count towards your continuing professional development.
This is an ideal opportunity to put those burning questions to members of the RCVS Officer team and VN Council, online. Questions can either be submitted in advance, or live, on the night, as the discussion unfolds.
The meeting will be run as a free, live audio webinar by 'The Webinar Vet' and will take place from 8pm - 9:30pm. It could also count towards your continuing professional development.
Following the successful format of our regular meetings, RCVS President Jacqui Molyneux will open the proceedings and introduce the panel, before answering questions and debating topics submitted by participants.
Questions on any issues affecting the veterinary profession are welcome – there is no set agenda – and can range from our First Rate Regulator initiative, new vet schools, veterinary nurse training and clinical governance, to proposed changes to the Practice Standards Scheme and recent amendments to the Veterinary Surgeons Act.
This is the first time that Question Time will be held virtually, and, if successful, it could become a regular event.
To register, or submit a question, please visit The Webinar Vet.
If you are unable to take part on the night, the Virtual Question Time will be recorded and available to listen again.
