RCVS profiles RVN staff for VN Awareness Month 2023
31 May 2023
For this year's VN Awareness Month we have profiled six out of the more than 20 members of RCVS staff who are also registered veterinary nurses (RVNs).
We have produced short interviews with these six members of staff asking them about their careers prior to joining the RCVS, their current role, and how they think their knowledge and experience as RVNs contributes to our mission to enhance animal health and welfare and professional standards.
The members of staff profiled are:
- Jill Macdonald RVN
- Abigayle Gomez RVN
- Claire Hobson RVN
- Jen Ayers RVN
- Charlotte Rodia RVN
- Tori Page RVN
As you can see our RVNs occupy a range of roles at the RCVS and we are very proud of everything they at the College - from being senior leaders in charge of departments, to assessing RCVS-accredited practices in the Practice Standards Scheme, to running our OSCEs for both overseas vets and VNs.
