Questions in Cornwall? We're all ears...
2 June 2009
The next RCVS Question Time meeting will be held on Thursday 18 June in Fraddon, Cornwall, home territory of RCVS President, Jill Nute.
Mrs Nute, along with the RCVS Officers and VN Council Chairman Andrea Jeffery, will be taking your questions, debating hot veterinary topics and offering information and guidance at the evening meeting.
All veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses and others involved in the profession are welcome to attend and raise their questions and concerns.
The evening will begin at 6:30pm with a finger buffet, drinks and a chance to catch up with colleagues and chat with the Officers. The debate will start at 7:15pm and finish at approximately 10pm.
Mrs Nute will be chairing the meeting, and she hopes to see lots of familiar faces; Jill and her husband have run a mixed practice in Wadebridge for the last thirty years.
Questions are welcome on any veterinary topic and are expected to cover veterinary legislation, 24-hour cover, VN regulation and the Veterinary Practice Premises Register.
For further information and to book your place at the meeting, which will be held in the Kingsley Suite at Kingsley Village, Fraddon, please contact Fiona Harcourt ([email protected] or 020 7202 0773).
All veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses living within reasonable travelling distance of the meeting venue will be sent a personal invitation.
While in Fraddon, the RCVS will also be holding a Practice Standards Scheme (PSS) ‘surgery’, between 11am and 5pm at Kingsley Village.
For practices who are thinking of joining the Scheme, need some help with an upcoming inspection or simply want a one-to-one chat with an inspector, free 45-minute appointments will be available with Jill Nute or a PSS Inspector, to answer your questions.
To book an appointment, please contact Fiona Harcourt via the details above.
