Question Time travels to Tunbridge Wells
27 September 2007
Veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses and practice colleagues from Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding area will have the opportunity to discuss veterinary issues and hot topics with RCVS Officers at the next RCVS Question Time meeting on Thursday 1 November.
RCVS Officers and members of the Veterinary Nurses Council will be present at the meeting, to be held at the Ramada Tunbridge Wells, to answer questions and debate a range of issues raised on the night.
A new Veterinary Surgeons Act, modular certificates, the RCVS Professional Development Phase and the new Register for veterinary nurses are just a few of the topics expected to be discussed.
The evening will begin with a chance to relax and catch up with colleagues over a buffet and drinks, before a welcome from RCVS President Dr Bob Moore. Question Time will then commence at 7.30pm and is expected to finish at approximately 10pm.
Personal invites will be sent to all veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses living within an hour or so of the meeting, however all members of the veterinary team are welcome to attend.
If you would like to attend the Question Time meeting, please contact Fiona Clark in the Communications Department on 020 7202 0773 before 19 October.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, but have a question you would like to raise, please do write in. Feedback from the meeting will be available on RCVSonline a few weeks after the meeting.
Future meetings are planned for 13 March in Nottingham and Sherborne in May 2008. Details will be available on RCVSonline nearer the time.
