Question Time in Cheltenham
21 March 2006
RCVS Question Time will be travelling to Cheltenham on Tuesday 9 May. This is your opportunity to air your views and debate hot topics with the RCVS Officers and colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere.
Being held at the Cheltenham Park Hotel, the evening will kick-off with a buffet and a glass of wine at 6.30pm, followed by the BBC Question Time-style debate, chaired by RCVS President Lynne Hill.
Attendees are asked to submit questions beforehand, but likely topics for discussion include the Practice Standards Scheme, veterinary nurse regulation, the impact of new medicines legislation, a new Veterinary Surgeons Act and the provision of veterinary services in rural areas.
Veterinary surgeons and Listed veterinary nurses living within an hour or so of the venue will be invited personally, but the event is open to everyone.
If you would like to attend the Question Time meeting and submit a question, please contact Fiona Clark in the External Affairs Department on 020 7202 0773. Once you have completed the reply slip, please post it to the address supplied on the invitation or fax it to 020 7202 0740. Please also bring your question with you on the night.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, but have a question you would like to raise, please do write in. Feedback from the meeting will be available on RCVSonline a few weeks after the meeting.
