Proposed retention fees for 2005/6
25 June 2004
RCVS Council has agreed that the proposed retention fees for 2005/6 (below) should be submitted to the Privy Council for approval.
Membership Category | Proposed fees for 2005/6 |
Home-practising members | £244 |
Postgraduate members | £122 |
Overseas-practising members | £122 |
Non-practising members | £40 |
These increases were discussed by Council at its recent meeting and approved on the basis that proper provision needs to be made for RCVS's current and future initiatives, many of which ultimately will feed into new legislation.
Council also confirmed that next year it would consider the possibility of not charging a fee to those over a certain age.
Subject to Privy Council approval, the fees will be finalised by RCVS Council in November 2004.
