Practice Standards Scheme opt-in deadline approaching for TPs
20 April 2005
We would like to remind all those involved with veterinary nurse training practices (TPs) that 30 April 2005 is the deadline for joining the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme on a self-certification basis.
Training practices joining the Scheme by this date will also be exempt from the joining fee and we are pleased to report that many TPs have already signed up to the Scheme in this way.
However, those opting to join after 30 April will have to submit to the external inspection process and pay a fee of £400 per practice.
Practices already accredited under the BSAVA or RCVS/BVHA schemes are automatically eligible for accreditation under the new scheme, but in order to convert this eligibility into accreditation, these practices must complete the application process.
All relevant forms and contact details are available in the Practice Standards Scheme section.
