Practice Standards Scheme opens applications for new Assessors
28 February 2024
Our Practice Standards Scheme (PSS) is currently seeking new assessors to work with the RCVS, specifically applicants located in Scotland, West Midlands and the North East of England with experience in at least two species, including small animal, equine or farm.
Each of our PSS assessors are allocated assessments and work associated with the PSS assessment process, working 8-hour days for either three days per month or three days per week and will be expected to travel reasonable distances to practices to carry out assessments, including some overnight stays. A full driver’s licence and access to a car is essential, and you will be required to attend up to four days of training per year, plus other annual training days as decided by PSS management.
You will need to have been registered with the RCVS as an MRCVS or RVN for at least five years and worked within veterinary practice within the last five years also. A competitive salary is offered, as well as an extensive list of benefits.
You can find out more about the role on the RCVS vacancies webpage.
