PinPoint Publishing: a warning to Practice Principals and Managers
31 January 2005
We would like to warn veterinary surgeons and/or veterinary practices that they might be contacted by a company called PinPoint Publishing, selling advertising space in a veterinary buyer's guide or a similar publication.
We have received reports from some practices that canvassers working for PinPoint Publishing are claiming that they or their publication have some connection with the RCVS, or represent the RCVS in some way. This is not the case, and we would advise you to check carefully before accepting any offer they might make.
In the past, the RCVS Directory of Veterinary Practices has contained a Veterinary Buyers Guide supplement. Please note that this has been discontinued and the 2005 edition of the Directory will not contain any advertising.
The RCVS has no connection with, and does not endorse, any independent publication containing advertisements for veterinary products and services.
