November round of RCVS Regional Meetings in Scotch Corner and Grantham
5 September 2002
The RCVS will be hosting its next round of Regional Meetings in November 2002 at Scotch Corner (near Darlington) and in Grantham. The dates and venues are:
- Tuesday 26 November 2002 - Quality Hotel, Scotch Corner, Near Darlington
- Wednesday 27 November 2002 - Marriott Hotel, Grantham
Regional Meetings provide RCVS members and listed veterinary nurses with an opportunity to meet the Officers of the College and to discuss with them and colleagues any issues of concern in an informal atmosphere.
The aim is for the Officers to listen to the issues raised (either prior to the meeting or on the day) by local members and to try to resolve them, either at the meeting, or through further consideration by RCVS Council. Regional Meetings are an invaluable way of keeping abreast of current issues that affect you - the members of the College.
The evenings start at 7.00pm with a light buffet with the meetings proper starting at 8.00pm. Invitations will be mailed out to all members (and all Training Practices) within reasonable travelling distance of the venue, however, all members are invited. Please feel free to bring along any veterinary or veterinary nursing colleagues.
Further details will be made available in due course. If you are interested in attending, please email the External Affairs Department at the RCVS or telephone on 020 7222 2001.
