New RCVS Directory of Veterinary Practices published
20 September 2006
The 2006 edition of the RCVS Directory of Veterinary Practices has just been published and is now available to purchase.
The Directory, weighing in at just under a modest 2kg, continues to be one of the most comprehensive listings of veterinary practices in the UK.
It contains details of more than 3,850 practices, branches and clinics and is used by members of the veterinary team, students, government, businesses and those in veterinary organisations as an authoritative source of practice data.
It also continues to highlight those veterinary practices accredited under the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme by displaying the Accredited Practice logo next to the practice entry.
Other practice details include:
- address, phone, fax, email and website details
- species treated at the practice and other practice interests
- list of veterianry and veterinary nursing staff and practice managers
- availability of RCVS Recognised Specialists
Much of this information is also easily available in our online Find a Vet service, which has the additional benefit of being updated every week.
Copies of the Directory may be ordered online or by sending a cheque for £65 to the Publications Department (includes postage within the United Kingdom). Veterinary practices listed within the Directory qualify for the discounted price of £25.
