Incorrect Specialists List in New Directory
22 October 2004
As some members may have noticed, the RCVS List of Recognised Specialists included in The Directory of Veterinary Practices 2004 was unfortunately both inaccurate and incomplete. We would like to apologise to users of the Directory and to Recognised Specialists for any problems this is causing.
Since the errors in the list render it unusable, we will be printing a corrected version in the form of a leaflet, and sending a copy to all the practices that receive a copy of the Directory.
The problem arose following the recent complete check on all the information we hold on practices, and alterations to the computer programs that are used to produce the data for the Directory. This introduced an error that should have been picked up during the production process, but unfortunately was missed.
If you do not receive a copy of the list of recognised Specialists by mid-November, please email the Publications Department at the College (or telephone 020 7202 0762) and we will send one to you.
