Fake vet admits fraud
14 November 2011
Peter Keniry (also known as Patrick) has admitted working as a veterinary surgeon, despite being neither qualified nor registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
He had been practising under the name of a registered veterinary surgeon.
Mr Keniry (pictured) admitted the charges at a hearing at Swindon Crown Court on Friday 11 November, when he was given bail.
The case has now been adjourned until Friday 9 December.
We assisted with Mr Keniry’s arrest in August of this year.
Note (9/12/11)
We have learnt today that sentencing has been deferred until January 2012. Mr Keniry therefore remains on bail.
