Draft update of RCVS Practice Standards now available
8 April 2004
At last week's BSAVA Congress in Birmingham, members showed considerable interest in the new RCVS Practice Standards Scheme.
The 3-Tier Practice Standards document was approved as an annex to the RCVS Guide to Professional Conduct by RCVS Council in October 2003.
Since then, the Practice Standards Working Party has amended the guidance notes on the standards in light of further comments and experience gained from recent inspections.
This amended document is now available for all interested parties to download (a limited number of hard copies are available upon request) and will be considered by RCVS Council later this year.
Any member with further enquiries about the Scheme is invited to contact the RCVS Professional Conduct Department on 020 7202 0763.
