Deadline extended for Find a Vet data cleanse
19 December 2013
The deadline for practices to get in touch with us to update their details for the online Find a Vet search tool, has been extended to the end of January 2014.
The original deadline for practices to contact us was 13 December but, following feedback from those who would still like to confirm their details with the College, this has now been extended.
Nicola South, Customer Experience Manager at the RCVS, says: “There has been an excellent response so far with approximately 3,000 of the around 5,000 practice premises on Find a Vet having confirmed their details, so thank you to all those who have contacted us.
“However, following comments from many of those who have responded, we have decided to extend the deadline to allow as many practices as possible to remain on Find a Vet, as it is an excellent resource for both members of the public and the profession alike.”
Find a Vet is one of the leading online veterinary practice databases and receives around 9,000 views every month. However, in order to keep it accurate, we need to update the practice data held there.
Practices that wish to stay on Find a Vet should return their form, which they would have received in the post, by Friday 31 January.
If you have any questions, or need to request a new form, please contact the Registration Department on 020 7202 0767 or [email protected].
