College seeks new Professional Development Phase Dean
6 May 2016
We are currently looking to recruit a new Professional Development Phase (PDP) Dean to help newly-qualified veterinary graduates transition from student to working life.
A new position has become available after a current Dean, Agnes Winter who has been overseeing the PDP for some time, decided to reduce her commitment from this year onwards.
The part-time role (up to 20 days per year) can be undertaken from home and applicants will need to have experience of working in general practice as a veterinary surgeon as well as a sympathetic understanding of the challenges faced by newly-qualified veterinary graduates. Experience of dealing with and advising students, or of employing and supporting new graduates, is required.
Those who would like to be considered for the role should apply with a covering letter and a brief CV describing their relevant experience to [email protected] by 5pm on Friday 10 June 2016.
NOTE: This article was amended on Monday 23 May 2016 to take into account the extension to the deadline for applications.
