College outlines 2016 achievements in annual report
6 July 2017
We have published our Annual Report and Financial Statements for 2016 – detailing our achievements over the course of the year and how our money was spent.
The Report gives an overview of some of our key projects and initiatives in 2016. Some of the work highlighted includes the launch of the new Fellowship initiative at the Royal Institute in October, the new Veterinary Client Mediation Service with Nockolds Solicitors, the publication of the Vet Futures Action Plan and the VN Futures Report at the Vet Futures Summit in July, the founding of the Ethics Review Panel and the growth of the Mind Matters mental health initiative.
The Report also gives an overview of our independently audited finances with details of income and spending. These have been prepared in accordance with the Charities Statement of Recommended Practice – a framework for charity accounting and reporting.
At this year’s RCVS Day – our Annual General Meeting and Awards Ceremony – on Friday 7 July at the Royal Institute of British Architects, the Report will be presented for adoption by members of the College.
