College announces two election challenges
16 August 2017
Following the official announcement of the results of the 2017 RCVS Council election at RCVS Day on Friday 7 July, two unsuccessful candidates have decided to separately challenge the validity of the election.
As a result we have instituted our election challenge procedure as set out in the RCVS Council Election Scheme. For any challenge this includes the appointment of a panel to examine the grounds of the challenges to see if they have any merit.
The results of the panel deliberations will be issued in due course.
