CMA seeks vet/VN experts to provide insight and analysis
31 May 2024
The Competition and Markets Authority has asked us to draw veterinary surgeons’ and veterinary nurses’ attention to the following opportunity for three veterinary professionals to support their investigation into the veterinary market with sector input.
In its Prior Information Notice, the CMA states:
“The CMA may require up to three external advisers (referred to as ‘Veterinary Experts’ or ‘Experts’) to provide advice to a CMA Inquiry Group conducting a market investigation into Veterinary Services for household pets in the UK.
“Seeking specialist input on veterinary matters would be a priority to ensure that the Group can understand the industry and would help to bolster the robustness of any analysis undertaken.
“The role of the Veterinary Experts would be to provide the Group with insight and analysis on matters relating to practising as a veterinary surgeon or veterinary nurse.”
The CMA’s deadline for responses is 5pm on Monday, 3 June 2024.
Anyone interested in participating should respond through Delta. You will need to create an account as a supplier to submit your response.
