Certificates and Diplomas: 2009 results and 2010 timetable
26 November 2009
All veterinary surgeons who took either the RCVS Certificate or the RCVS Diploma examinations during the summer have been informed of their results, which are now available to download.
A list of those successful may be downloaded from the 'Related documents' section on the right.
The RCVS is writing to all candidates who have received final approval of their experience, and are thus eligible to enter the 2010 examination round, with details of the exam timetables and an examination entry form.
Any eligible candidate who has not received this information by 15 January 2010 should contact the Education Department.
The examination dates for 2010 are:
Certificates
Tuesday 20 July - All day at the Emmanuel Centre London SW1
Or
Wednesday 21 July - All day at the Emmanuel Centre London SW1
(Candidates will be informed nearer the time which day they are to sit the examination.)
Diplomas
Wednesday 30 June at the RCVS
The closing date for submissions for both Certificates and Diplomas is noon on Monday 1 March 2010. Please allow plenty of time for posting documents.
No late entries are permitted; candidates are advised to complete their submitted work by December in order to allow time to consult their Adviser for a final review and make any revisions necessary prior to the closing date for entry to the examination.
The RCVS Certificate was superseded in 2007 by the modular RCVS Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice. Enrolments for the old-style certificate are no longer accepted; however, for candidates previously enrolled, examinations will continue to be held until 2012, when the final certificate examination round will take place.
