VCCP project seeks vet input on alternative routes to specialist status
30 December 2024
As part of the Veterinary Clinical Careers Pathway (VCCP) project’s aim to gather information on alternative routes to RCVS Specialist status than the standard residency route, we are looking for the input of veterinary professionals who might have previously undertaken such a route.
Specifically, the VCCP project is looking for people who fall within the following groups:
- RCVS Specialists that completed an alternative or modular pathway so that we can better understand the approach they had taken and to develop case studies on how such an approach was taken;
- Supervisors who supervised a vet undertaking an alternative or modular pathway as part of their specialist training, again so that we can understand the approach and develop case studies.
- Vets who have started but not completed an alternative or modular pathway to RCVS Specialist status so that we can better understand the barriers and any issues they had with completing it.
If you fall within any of these groups, or know someone that does, please contact Jenny Soreskog-Turp, RCVS Postgraduate Lead, on [email protected]
