Calling all veterinary students! Come and find us at AVS Congress
6 February 2025
This weekend, Saturday 8 to Sunday 9 February, we’re going to be attending the Association of Veterinary Students (AVS) Congress taking place at the University of Cambridge.
As a compassionate regulator and Royal College, we are dedicated to supporting veterinary professionals right from the start of their veterinary journeys to ensure they have the tools and support available to become the best veterinary professionals that they can be.
RCVS Outreach and Engagement Manager, Rosie Powley, said: “We’re really looking forward to attending AVS Congress 2025 and are proud to be sponsoring such a fantastic event.
“With around 130 vet students attending the event, we are keen to chat to as many people as possible across the weekend. On Saturday vet students will be able to find our stand at the careers fair where RCVS staff members will be on hand to answer any questions and queries about the new EMS database, our Veterinary Graduate Development Programme (VetGDP), and our Mind Matters Initiative.
“Attendees will also be able to take part in our true or false game, designed to highlight to students exactly what resources are available to them through the College.
“Alongside our stand activity, on Sunday from 12pm to 1pm, our Education Team will be hosting a talk all about our new EMS database and VetGDP.”
