BVA Congress grants for two veterinary wordsmiths
17 September 2009
The Trust is delighted to announce the winners of two all expenses paid trips to the 2009 BVA Congress later this month in Cardiff.
Recent graduates were invited to explain in no more than 50 words why they should be awarded a free trip to BVA Congress and the winners were Kieran Borgeat BVSc MRCVS, of Zetland Veterinary Hospital in Bristol, and William Gratwick BVSc MRCVS, of Pritchard the Vet in Denbigh. The judges particularly enjoyed the humour, warmth and originality of Kieran's entry, which read:
"Really Contentious Veterinary Stuff Thoroughly Reviewed Until Sunset Then Generously Ruminated About Nightly 'Til Facts, Opinions and Reality Merge Educationally"
Thanks go to all those who submitted an entry and commiserations if you did not win! The RCVS Trust will have a stand at Congress. If you are attending, we hope to meet you there.
