Broad agenda for Norfolk Question Time
16 December 2010
Norfolk veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses and others working in the profession will have the chance to put their questions to the RCVS Officer team when they visit Norwich in January.
RCVS President Peter Jinman, his fellow Officers and VN Council members will be at the Holiday Inn Norwich North (near Norwich airport) on Thursday 20 January, to listen to your concerns, answer your questions and debate current issues affecting the profession.
What’s on the agenda is up to the delegates, but possible topics for discussion include veterinary legislation, regulation of veterinary nurses and the new Health Protocol. Delegates will then explore topics further through break-out groups – a good chance to update your knowledge, and your CPD card.
All veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses living in the local area will be sent a personal invitation, however, the meeting, which is free to attend, is open to anyone working in the veterinary profession. The evening will start at 6:30pm with a buffet and drinks and a chance catch up with colleagues, with the meeting itself starting at 7:15pm.
While in Norwich, from 11am-5pm in the Question Time venue, the RCVS will be holding Practice Standards Scheme ’surgeries’. These are available for practices who are thinking of joining the Scheme, are already a member and need some advice about an inspection, or would like a one-to-one chat with the Chairman of the scheme, Peter Jinman, or an inspector.
