Are you up to date on legal issues? Join us at BSAVA Congress
31 March 2011
Changes are afoot in the legal and regulatory framework for both veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses.
If you are attending BSAVA Congress in Birmingham this year, join us for a free update on the issues (ICC, Hall 6, Saturday 2 April, 2.15pm).
We will cover:
- The launch of the new disciplinary system for registered veterinary nurses
- Progress with a Legislative Reform Order to separate the investigation of complaints and adjudication on charges from RCVS Council
- The public consultation which has just opened on a draft new Code of Professional Conduct for Veterinary Surgeons
- The new Health Protocol, which was introduced last autumn to better serve the public interest when veterinary surgeons have health problems which affect their fitness to practise
