Are you an RCVS credit card holder?
2 March 2011
One of our cardholders recently got in touch as he, like so many, had been thinking about paring down his credit card collection!
We reassured him that the Trust does get a healthy income from our credit card arrangement and that this form of support is one which has benefits all round.
The income allows us to support the equivalent of up to 10 EMS grants every year or five travel awards, which is no small beer, especially to the one in four applicants who are awarded a grant.
Those who get our grants tell us that the opportunities to get financial support are becoming scarcer and ever more competitive, so they are absolutely grateful and proud to be chosen.
The credit card programme costs the Trust almost nothing to deliver and administer, and the regularity of the income year on year helps ensure that we go on awarding those small grants that make such a difference.
Now, don’t you think that’s a good reason to keep your RCVS card?
For those interested in signing up for an RCVS visa card, please see our Support us pages for more information.
