Annual Report for 2013 published
20 June 2014
We have published our Annual Report and Financial Statements for 2013 in a new format to make it more accessible and transparent for our members.
The report sets out our achievements from last year, including reform of the disciplinary process and the First Rate Regulator initiative, as well as looking to the future and how we will meet the aims of our Strategic Plan for 2014-16.
On the recommendation of our Audit and Risk Committee the financial statements for 2013 have also been set out in accordance with the Charities Statement of Recommended Practice – a framework for charity accounting and reporting.
Corrie McCann, Operations Director, explains: “The new format identifies costs and income by the type of activity, which means that we now provide a longer and more detailed financial report for our members.
“This new approach will provide greater transparency for members and also means that our accounts can be more easily compared with other organisations that use the same standards.”
The report will be presented for adoption by members at our Annual General Meeting on Friday 11 July.
You can download a copy of the report from our publications page.
