24-hour Emergency Cover Working Party reports
16 April 2008
The RCVS Working Party set up to review guidance on 24-hour emergency cover (24/7 WP) met on 26 March.
Among other things, it recommended that the profession and the public be consulted in order to build a full picture of opinions on the issue before any decisions are made that might affect guidance to the profession.
The Working Party's recommendations will be discussed by the RCVS Advisory Committee on 24 April. The Committee is likely, in turn, to make recommendations to RCVS Council, which next meets on Thursday 5 June.
