2010 Survey published
16 November 2010
Our Survey of the Veterinary and Veterinary Nursing Professions 2010 has now been published.
The Survey offers a snapshot of both professions and data are also compared with previous surveys to highlight trends, for example, in the amount of time spent treating different species, practice ownership and how emergency care is offered
The report contains information about where and how veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses are working, what continuing professional development they undertake and how they are being rewarded for their work, amongst other things.
It also contains veterinary surgeons’ and veterinary nurses’ views on their professions, and, for the first time, we look at the well-being of respondents.
A summary of the Survey results was published in a special edition of RCVS News Extra and sent to every veterinary nurse and veterinary surgeon at the end of October.
A more detailed analysis of the well-being results was made by David Bartram in the November issue of RCVS News, which was posted to veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses at the end of last week.
