VetGDP e-portfolio Interactive Online Workshop
Date: Monday 20th September 2021
Opening times: 7:00 - 8:00pm
Venue: Webinar
Details
We are holding two workshops in September to provide you with the information you need about the new VetGDP e-portfolio.
The e-portfolio is integral to the Veterinary Graduate Development Programme (VetGDP), and both VetGDP Advisers and veterinary graduates enrolled on the programme will use it. The e-portfolio has been designed to be intuitive to use, with the option to record voice notes, upload documents and photos to help record and reflect on cases as you progress through the programme.
Who should attend?
The workshops are open to you if you are:
- A veterinary graduate who has started or is about to start your first graduate job. You will be able to access the e-portfolio once you have completed your registration with us, and enrolled onto the VetGDP. Nb: you are free to attend any session, however you may feel that it is more beneficial to wait until you have access to the e-portfolio, allowing you to put your learnings into practise asap.
- A veterinary surgeon who is, or planning to become, a VetGDP Adviser. You will be able to access the e-portfolio once you have started the VetGDP Adviser e-learning, and have been selected by a graduate as their VetGDP Adviser.
The sessions will be interactive and include a demonstration of how to use the e-portfolio. There will also be a significant portion of time given over to Q&As. Dr Sue Paterson FRCVS, Chair of our Education Committee, and our Director of Education, Dr Linda Prescott-Clements will be available to answer any questions you may have which you will be able to submit live during the event. You can also submit questions as you register for the workshop.
Event Information:
- The workshop is free to attend, but we ask that you register your place.
- This workshop counts towards your CPD.
- If you are unable to join the live session, the workshop will be recorded and made available to watch on demand.
- If you have any queries, please contact the Events Team [email protected]
