We are looking forward to hosting Veterinary Nurses Evening online on Thursday, 21 October 2021 from 7:00pm.
Our virtual VN Ceremony is open to all and will be lived streamed and viewable from the Veterinary Nurses Evening page on our website.
The evening will also be recorded and made available to watch after the event has taken place.
Programme agenda:
We have been working very hard to retain as many features of our usual live ceremony as we can, with the following programme planned:
- Welcome and opening remarks from Belinda Andrews-Jones RVN, Vice-Chair of VN Council
- Veterinary Nurse professional Declaration
- Announcement of names and formal welcome to the Register for each new RVN attending
- RCVS President’s address, Dr Kate Richards MRCVS
- VN Futures update, Jill MacDonald, VN Futures Project Co-ordinator
- Update on the RCVS Diamond Jubilee year activity
- Keynote speaker: Matthew Rendle RVN, Chair of VN Council

Please note that this is the registration to watch the event. All eligible newly registered VNs who have completed via the diploma route, and those who have completed their advanced qualifications will have already been contacted and will need to have previously registered to be a part of the event.
